Providential Pickleball uses the information you provide to manage the founding interest list, understand where and when people want to play, coordinate matches, reserve courts, and communicate with you. Joining the list is not a purchase or paid membership.
Information we collect
We collect your name, email address, mobile number, preferred location, skill level, availability, optional notes, SMS consent record, and the date you joined. When match coordination begins, we may also record invitations, IN or OUT replies, opt-out requests, player status, court details, and communication delivery history.
How we use it
We use your information to confirm your signup, assess launch locations and schedules, build compatible groups, coordinate match details, reserve courts, respond to support or privacy requests, maintain communication preferences, prevent unwanted messages, and operate and improve the service.
Email and text messages
We send email and SMS only for the purposes described at the point of consent. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end texts or HELP for help. We record opt-outs immediately and maintain a suppression list so future automated texts are blocked.
Service providers
We may share the minimum information needed with companies that host the site and database, deliver transactional email, deliver SMS, or support court reservations and operations. These providers process information for Providential Pickleball; we do not sell or rent your personal information.
Retention and security
We keep interest-list and coordination records only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and service integrity. We use access controls, secret storage, provider authentication, webhook verification, and communication logs, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You may opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP. You may ask to access, correct, or delete your information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements. Email requests to pickleball@timeforprovidence.com.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service develops. The effective date above will change when material updates are published. We will provide additional notice when required.
